Description: This zinc-clad piece has turned out to be one of my favorites. Zinc has a very unfinished feel to it and the curved shape with the longer pieces that I clad this rolling drawer in I worked using my English Wheel. Giving a historical memory to the work, which evokes the creation of old racing cars and planes, the crafting of metal by hand. The zinc is 'striped' on this car, as in racing stripes, and because it is zinc, it will never rust.
